Trapattoni is next Ivory Coast coach
Veteran Italian coach Giovanni Trapattoni is in line to become the next coach of Ivory Coast, but he may have to wait until after the World Cup.
The Ivorian Football Federation had proposed to the Italian coach that he lead the Elephants after the Mundial in Brazil, but have remained silent over the fate of Sabri Lamouchi.
According to Sportmediaset, a four-year contract has already been offered to him at a meeting with the Ivorian Federation.
Trapattoni will then take over the west African powerhouse right after the global football show-piece.
The 74-year-old last coached the Republic of Ireland but failed to secure a ticket to Brazil this summer with the Green Army.
