Victor Moses has been voted as Man of the Match following his debut against Portsmouth by Stoke fans.

The results of an online poll conducted by Stoke Sentinel, which saw hundreds of Stoke fans vote, have been published, and new signing Victor Moses came out tops with an average mark of 8.65 out of 10, with Walters, who scored a brace, the only other player over eight (8.45).

Nigerian compatriot Peter Odemwingie started the game and was substituted in the second half but it was Moses that grabbed the headlines with his brilliant performance after joining from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal last week.
