Leicester City and Ghana’s Jeffrey Schlupp has been told he can leave Premier League champions Leicester City if he wants to.

Italian coach Claudio Ranieri told Schlupp he can repeat the King Power for the right fee after meeting the player amid interest from West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom have tabled an improved offer for Schlupp after seeing their initial bid for the Ghana international rejected last month.

Schlupp made 24 league appearances for Leicester last season as they won the title, but Ranieri has been unable to guarantee him that he will be playing regular first-team football this season.

Jeffrey Schlupp has been deployed as a left-back and a more attacking wide role by Leicester City.
West Brom are growing in confidence that they can land Schlupp after Ranieri gave the green light for a move and talks are ongoing between both clubs as they look to try and thrash out a deal for the 23-year-old.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is keen to bolster his squad and the club hope the offer of a regular role at The Hawthorns will help persuade Schlupp to make the move to West Brom.
