Chelsea loanee Mohammed Salah struck his first goal on his full debut in Serie A for Fiorentina as the Viola defeated Sassuolo.

Salah moved to the Italian side on loan in the January transfer window in Juan Cuadrado’s Chelsea switch. He was straight into the action for loan club Fiorentina with a goal and assist in their Serie A clash at Sassuolo.

Salah’s goal came after an outrageous backheel-flicked pass from Senegalese Khouma Babacar.

Soon after Salah returned the favour, assisting Babacar for the second goal of the game. The young Senegalese Babacar went on to add a third and double his tally for the Florence based side.

Domenico Berardi pulled one back for Sassuolo but it wasn’t enough as the Viola emerged winners.

Fiorentina face Tottenham in round of 16 of the Europa League on Thursday.
