Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored Borussia Dortmund’s only goal as Bayern Munich battered them 5-1 at the Allianz Arena.

Borussia Monchengladbach scored two in quick succession to beat last season’s German Cup champions Wolfsburg and it was Ibrahima Traore who sealed the win for the home side. After Havard Nordveit had scored the opener in the 75th minute, Traore scored the second in the 79th when he ran onto Lars Stindl’s ball and placed his shot past Diego Benaglio.
Senegal defender Salif Sane scored the only goal in Hannover 96’s 1-0 home win over Werder Bremen. Sane rose highest in the box to head in Hiroshi Kitotake’s corner. Hannover are second from bottom in the Bundesliga, with five points from eight games.
Salomon Kalou struck first for Hertha Berlin as they made light work of Hamburger SV. The 30-year-old hit a low shot past Jaroslav Drobny in his side’s comfortable 3-0 win at home.
