Kwesi Appiah could make a loan move to Championship side Reading ahead of Thursday’s 5pm loan deadline.

The Ghana international, who had signed a new two-year deal with Crystal Palace just last week, is expected to link up with the struggling Royals according to Croydon Advertiser.

Appiah, 24, hasn’t appeared for his Premier League parent club since the beginning of last season, with his last competitive action coming in the Africa Cup of Nations with runners-up Ghana.

He most recently spent time on loan with Cambridge United earlier this season, scoring eight goals in 23 appearances, before returning to Selhurst Park.

News on this move to follow.
