Despite losing 1-0 to Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend, Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo is happy with the ‘fight’ his showed in defeat.

The 21-year-old, on loan from Chelsea, has started all four of the club’s games and lasted the 90 minutes on each outing, as Fenerbahce moved top of the Super Lig following the win.

“#Kasimpasa #fernabahçe #superleague #omeruo #thankful #osinachi great game great fight but unlucky with the result..” Omeruo wrote on his Instagram account.

Omeruo made seven interceptions, the most in the match, and a solid performance to prove why Chelsea should give him a chance in the Premier League.

The Nigerian has a buy-out clause in his contract, but it is not yet understood whether the Turkish side are prepared to buy the player, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough in the Championship.

Omeruo already has a wealth of international experience for the Super Eagles at just 21 years of age.
