Grant names Ghana squad for AFCON qualifier
Ghana coach Avram Grant has named a 24-man squad for the Black Stars Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda, on September the 4th.
New Bologna signing Godfred Donsah has been called up for the first time by Grant. The 19-year-old midfielder was part of the Black Satellites team that made it to the Round of 16 at the U20 World Cup in New Zealand, earlier this year.
Christian Atsu has also been included in the squad, after recovering from an injury that has left him out of newly promoted AFC Bournemouth’s first 11.
Prior to their qualifier in Kigali Ghana will play a friendly against Congo on September 1st.
