DONE DEAL: Opare signs for Augsburg
German Bundesliga side Augsburg has announced the signing of Ghana defender Daniel Opare from Porto on a three-year deal.
Opare joins the German side after terminating his contract with Portuguese champions FC Porto.
The former Real Madrid right-back moved to Portugal as a free agent from Belgian giants Standard Liege on the back of impressive performance in European competitions.

Opare spent the last half of last season on loan at Turkish club Besiktas but failed to secure a permanent move at the Super Lig side with injury limiting his game time.
Reports suggest Opare is a versatile replacement for Chelsea bound Ghana left-back Abdul Baba Rahman.
Financial details of Opare’s three-year contract have not been revealed.
