Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom has been made one of the advertising faces of Spanish club Elche.
The 21 year old, along with goalkeeper Manu Herrera and striker Ferran Corominas Telechea, has been featured on a huge billboard outside the Elche Stadium. It is testament to the forward’s popularity in Alicante.
The billboard reads, in Spanish: ‘Pasión Franjiverde‘ – which means ‘Love of Elche.’
Boakye Yiadom only joined the club at the beginning of the season, on a loan deal from Italian giants Juventus.
A fairly successful first half of the campaign, including a memorable goal scored against Real Madrid, has endeared the former Genoa man to the club’s fans.
