AFSTZ: Nigerian duo to join Hull

Hull City are set to confirm the signings of Nigerians Chuba Akpom and Moses Odubajo from Arsenal and Brentford respectively.

The duo were to undergo medicals on Monday, before completing their transfers, as Hull look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Hull met Brentford’s £3.5 million release clause for Odubajo, while Akpom will arrive on loan from the Emirates.

Odubajo, who can play on the right wing or at right-back, scoring three goals for the Bees last season, as they reached the Championship play-offs.

While Akpom made headlines during the Gunners pre-season tour, scoring a hat-trick in the club’s opening match against a Singapore XI.
