AFSTZ: Niasse set for return to Turkey
Galatasaray will pay €800,000 for the season-long loan of Senegal forward Oumar Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 25-year-old has had a tough season in Russia since joining Lokomotiv for €5 million and the Turkish side have the option to buy for €4.5 million.
Niasse’s lack of first team football has been an issue, although the forward has been scouted by both Chelsea and Tottenham according to the player himself.
“Last season Chelsea watched four of my games and Tottenham watched six of my games and they are keeping tabs on me,” he told Europsport TR.
Galatasaray manager Hazma Hamzaoglu has previously worked with the African at Akhisar Belediyespor, where he made 34 league appearances before an unsuccessful move to Russia.
