AFSTZ: Eto’o on the move again
Samuel Eto’o is set to join newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor on a three-year deal.
The Sampdoria striker is set to have his contract ended by mutual consent, as the Turkish outfit has agreed a fee to bring the Cameroon legend to Turkey.
Eto’o only arrived at the club in January, but is set for his fourth club in two years.
The 34-year-old has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Everton and Anzi Makhachkala back in 2011.
Two goals for Sampdoria in the second half of the Serie A season, on top of four goals for Everton in the first half of the campaign isn’t prolific by the Cameroonian’s standards, but he will be a valuable asset in Turkey.
