Angola international Igor Vetokele scored twice as Charlton secured a point away at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Vetokele has been one of the Championship’s stand-out players so far this term and wasted little time in demonstrating his quality to the Seagulls fans, opening the scoring in the fourth minute.

Brighton fought back, however, through Lewis Dunk in the 67th minute, but Vetokele was on hand six minutes later to restore the Londoners’ advantage.

They couldn’t hold on for the victory, however, and that man Dunk made another pertinent contribution in the dying stages, grabbing a 90th-minute equaliser.

Vetokele looked lethal upfront alongside George Tucudean in the Addicks’ 4-4-2 formation, with Andre Bikey also impressing in defence. Kazenga Lua Lua entered as a second-half substitute for the home side.

Vetokele has bagged five in five in the Championship so far this season and sits joint top of the league’s scoring charts.
