Nigerian winger Moses Odubajo was the saviour for Brentford has he rescued a point for the Bees at home to Birmingham City.

Moses Odubajo has wasted little time making an impression at Brentford following his summer switch from Leyton Orient.

Despite being down to ten men for the majority of the match, the newly-promoted Championship side managed to secure a point against their more illustrious opponents.

Paul Caddis gave the visitors a lead inside 16 minutes from the penalty spot after Tony Craig brought down Clayton Donaldson in the box.

Lee Clark’s side could have put the victory beyond doubt, but missed a plethora of chances, giving Brentford the belief that they could take something from the fixture.

It was eventually Odubajo, who entered as a substitute, who found the net—chipping goalkeeper Darren Randolph to rescue a point.
