Ahmed Musa struck in the 33rd minute to decide a tight Moscow derby in favour of defending Russian champions CSKA.

The 21-year-old declared himself delighted at having scored to defeat fierce rivals Lokomotiv Moscow 1-0.

Speaking to AfricanFootball, Musa said, “I am so happy and delighted to have scored the goal that gave us victory in the match. It was a derby and it was tough.”

This latest goal took his tally of league goals to three, and in all competitions to four, following his consolatory strike in the club’s Champions League loss in midweek to Roma.

The Nigeria forward attributed his blistering start to the season to hard work. “I have no secret other than hard work and dedication to my job,” he stated.
