Burkinabe defender Mahamoudou Kere has signed for Belgian Division 2 side RAEC Mons after 10 years at Sporting Charleroi.
The experienced centre back has been tasked to bring stability to the rear as Mons eye qualification to the elite division.
He said he is up to the daunting task ahead.
“I am very happy to be back in Hainaut. I want to have a season. Mons deserves to play at the highest level and my intention is to contribute as much as possible,” Kere told the official website of Mons.
The former deputy captain of the Stallions of Burkina Faso has also played in Turkey for Konyaspor, Samsunspor, FC Santos and RWDM Brussels.
