Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has said that he will put the brakes on Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo when Ghana meet Portugal in the group stage of the 2014 World Cup.

The 28-year-old has said that he is not scared, but rather happy to face the world’s best player as he would end up getting the plaudits for saving his shots.

“I am always happy to play against the best in the world, because when I do well against them, I will get the credit,” Dauda told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“I am ready to save all his shots when we meet Portugal in Brazil,” the former Ashanti Gold keeper opined.

Dauda made his debut in the South African league on Saturday when Pirates lost 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
