Fiorentina to trigger Salah clause
Serie A side Fiorentina will opt to extend the loan stay of Mohamed Salah from Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Gigliati have been impressed with the Egyptians performances, since joining the club on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window, and will look to extend his stay in Italy.
The London Evening Standard reports that the Blues will demand a fee of £1.5 million to take the 22-year-old on loan again next season, with the view to a £9.5 million sale in 2016.
His seven goals so far have attracted the attention of Italy’s top sides, Juventus and AS Roma, also.
Chelsea’s loan and sale fees would mean they would break even on their £11 million signing from Basel, just a year earlier.
Salah made just six league starts for the Stamford Bridge outfit, during a year with the London club.
