Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom has completed his transfer to ambitious Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor.

The Ghana international defender has signed a two and half year deal with the Turkish side to bring his six-month stay in Portugal to an end.

Inkoom, 26, who can operate on either flanks made just ten top-fight appearances in Portugal. The move will come as a shock to supporters of his Portuguese club Boavista but it is understood the defender has been offered a bumper pay rise.

The Ghanaian comes with experience having played for Ghana in two World Cup campaigns and also winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt 2009.

Inkoom has turned out for Ukrainian side Dnipro, from where he was loaned out twice to French club Bastia in 2013 and Platanias of Greece in 2014. He made his name in Europe at Basel after signing from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
