Gabon midfielder Frederic Bulot has left Standard Liege to move to Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan.

Championship side Charlton have acquired the services of the left-sided midfielder Frederic Bulot from Standard Liege.

The international player began his career with French moneybags AS Monaco, and sampled life with Caen before switching to the Belgian side in July 2012. Over the subsequent two years he has made 76 appearances for the Reds.

The 23-year-old Gabon international played for France at all youth levels from U-16 to U-21, before making his debut for the Panthers earlier this year.

Addicks manager Bob Peeters said this about his new signing in an interview with the Charlton Official website: “He is a good technical player with a lot of pace.”

Bulot will join fellow Africans Andre Bikey and hotshot Igor Vetokele at the Valley. The club currently sit 6th in the Championship.
