Alli savours latest hat-trick
Dele Alli has described his hat-trick for MK Dons over the weekend as the highlight of his young career to date.
Alli, who is eligible for Nigeria through his father, scored thrice in a 6-1 romp over Crewe Alexandra at stadium:mk.
He also scored a hat-trick last term in a game against Notts County, but admitted this one was a bit more special. “The other hat-trick was nice to get my first one, but it was even better to get one here at stadium:mk,” he told the club’s official website.
“It means a lot to me and it’s thanks to all the players as well. This is my favourite one – definitely.”
The 18-year-old is highly-rated, and has represented England already at three different age-levels, but can still play for the Nigerian national team.
