In Group A, AC Leopard secured a whooping 4-1 home win over ASEC Mimosas, Kadem Bidimbou and Cesaire Gandze scored two goals each to help the home side gain that victory.

AS Real de Bamako were held to a 1-1 draw by Coton Sport.

At the end of the group stage, AC Leopard and Cotonsport are tied at the top of group A with 11 points each. Also Real Bamako is third and ASEC Mimosas is fourth with six and three points respectively. AC Leopard and Cotonsport have both qualified to the semi-finals of the competition.

In Group B, Egyptian giants Al Ahly shared the points with Etoile Sahel of Tunisia in a goalless draw. Sewe Sport clinched a convincing 3-0 home win over Nkana FC of Zambia.

Finally, Sewe Sport and Al Ahly are locked at the top of the group with nine points each. Also Nkana FC has seven points at the third position, as Etoile Sahel lies fourth with six points. This shows that Sewe Sport and Al Ahly have both qualified to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
