Bellarabi cannot stop scoring
The goals continue to roll in for Karim Bellarabi, who netted once again this week in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-2 win over Hertha Berlin.
This latest strike takes the forward to three goals in his last for games for the club. Just last week, the forward made history by scoring the fastest ever goal in Bundesliga history against Borussia Dortmund.
In front of the BayArena support, Hertha took the lead through an own-goal by Tim Jedvaj. The lead stood till the 50th minute, and Jedvaj made amends with the equalizer. Emir Spahic and Julian Brandt both struck after Hertha had edged in front again, but Bellarabi made the game safe in the 86th minute.
The winger met Hakan Calhanoglu’s teasing cross with a powerful finish from close range to ensure the points stayed in Leverkusen.
Bayer have picked up maximum points in their opening two Bundesliga fixtures this term.
