Congolese forward Britt Assombalonga continued his fine progress in the Championship by helping Nottingham Forest to a comeback victory against Bournemouth.

Nottingham Forest settled at the top of the Championship following a 2-1 victory away at Bournemouth.

The East Midlands club have accrued seven points from three matches and are making a roaring start to the division under new boss Stuart Pearce.

Assombalonga, recently recruited from Peterborough, was once again a key protagonist.

The home side opened the scoring through Callum Wilson, before the visitors stepped up a great.

The Congolese striker scored with a 67th-minute header, before Matty Fryatt secured the victory five minutes later.

The former Peterborough man has now scored three goals in three Championship matches for Forest, and has been Man of the Match on two occasions.
