Our midfield is drawn from no fewer than four different leagues. Algerian Yacine Brahimi was on the score-sheet as Porto saw off the challenge of Vitoria Setubal. Malian Salif Sane also scored as his struggling side Hannover claimed a point at high-flyers Wolfsburg. Recently capped DR Congo man Paul-Jose M’Poku makes his AFS TOTW debut after starring in Cagliari’s 4-0 rout over Parma. Almeria’s Thievy Bifouma also makes his debut after netting to help his side claim a point against Celta Vigo in Spain’s La Liga.

The AFS TOTW front-line were all match winners for their clubs over the weekend. There’s is a debut for Granada’s Moroccan Youssef El-Arabi and FC Sion’s Moussa Konate. El-Arabi grabbed a brace in Granada’s win against Getafe while Konate scored the only for FC Sion in their victory over St Gallen in the Swiss Super League. Obafemi Martins was again in great form as he tormented New York City’s back-line helping himself to a brace in the process.
