Ramadan Sobhi signs for Stoke City
Stoke City have signed Egypt international Ramadan Sobhi from Al Ahly for a fee believed to be around the region of £6million.
The attacking midfielder is the potters first signing of the summer transfer window and will receive a UK visa over the next 48 hours.
“We are absolutely delighted to have signed a player of Ramadan’s undoubted quality and potential,” Stoke CEO, Scholes said.
“He’s a special young talent who is excited about the prospect of making an impact in the Premier League and we’re looking forward to giving him that platform.” He added.
The 19-year old is likely to join his new teammates in Orlando later this week where they are preparing for the new campaign.
Sobhi is a graduate of the youth system of Egyptian giants and made his professional debut as a 16-year-old, earning his international cap a year later.
His 11 goals coupled with impressive displays in 71 appearances helped The Red Devils win a string of domestic titles.
